I have to disagree. My experience is with a very similar list of mods. T5's, stock stroke and port. +4, vf3's, 21cc domes, etc and going from stock carbs to 34 PJ's was a huge improvement. Not much loss on bottom end but pulled much harder up top. You always hear people talk bad about 34PJ's for stockish bikes but I love them. Tad tricky to get to idle perfect but no big deal if you know what your doing jetting carbs. And cheap! 250r factory carbs. I'd throw them on, can't hurt...if you don't like them go back to the mikuni's.

What are you wanting to spend? I have a set of stockers, that I believe are stock bore. I'll double check tonight.

Hey do you have the tierods/ends?

I have a set of sudco pwks's. The entry bore measures about 28.5mm but on the side they say 29sborem. Not sure if they were maybe taper bored to 29? I'd like to go with a larger set. 33 or 34mm. Email me at [email protected] if interested.

Just bought a house and the quad has to go. It's an 87....taken care of it's whole life. I guess i'll just start listing the mods....Motor wise - .020 over Jugs, stock ports, wiseco pistons, coolhead with 17 and 21cc domes, +4 degree timing key, new stator, hinson clutch basket and clutch, V force cages, boost bottle, 34mm PJ's, big boots to adapt to stock air box with pro flow piece and KN clamp on filter with outerwear, chrome Toomey T5 pipes and silencers with optional Hush kit, +2+1 Roll Design chrome arms , Works shocks all the way around with outerwears, Full body aluminum skid plate, +4" swingarm (have the stock one), Axcalibur Axle with anti fade nut, 3 sets of wheels and tires, one set douglas .190's with fastrekkers on front and maxis razr's on back, another full set of douglas wheels with sand tires front and back, and another set of ITP's with bearclaws, Renthal bars with acerbis hand guards and ez pull clutch lever, twist throttle, New black plastic with bolt on front fenders and sticker kit with seat cover, AC front bumper, rear bumper, and nerfs, and much more i'm probably forgetting.
