Dude ive done the same thing. except i was on a honda 3 wheeler with no brakes and i hit a 6 foot post.

I completely agree wit u on the wearing a helmet. I know many people that drink and ride machines around at our local sand dunes. One kid busted a set of handle bars over the back of his head when he rolled his machine down the hill. Fortunatly he wasn's killed. pretty banged up though.
