I finally got it working. I've got it temporarally hooked up to a battery then I am going to run a batpac. Turns out my pvcu was bad. Thats what I thought about the wiring to but it turned out to be a real pain in the a#$.

Ok, I am this close to going insane. I cant get my wiring on this rz correct. This is my last try at getting this thing working or I am going to burn it all. I have no B/W wire coming out of my CDI and I have no B/Y coming out of my pvcu. I have bought two pvcu's and regulator/rectifiers and am sure that my pv servo is good. I know that my stator is good also. I can't get the pv servo to turn over. I have it hooked up just like my diagram above. How can I not have these wires and the diagram does. Do I need some switches or something elso. Someone help me befor a do something I'll regret.

Is it just the line that is formed by the cases coming together or is it near that line. I've looked and looked.

Ok, I've been talking to ricky stator and he told my to modify my timing plate instead of by his on the rz engine. He claims that there is a mark on the engine cases that you use to check the timing with a timing light. I can't find it. I think that you use the mark on the stator plate. How do these adjustable timing plates work anyway. I see numbers and elongated holes, buy how do you know how far to twist it. I'm confused. I'll just tell you guys what he told me because it is good info and to see what your opinions are on it. He said measure the flywheel. Multiply that by pie and divide it by 360 to get the rate of change per degree. Then you need to mark whatever that number is on a piece of tape like ten time or so. Then put the piece of tape on the flywheel where this mark I can't find is and use a timing light to adjust it. Someone help me. Thanks.

Yeah its for the rz, but couldn't I line up the ricky stator one and the stock rz one to find out where + 0 degrees would be. Then I could just advance it from there. For instince, the plate could read +4 but it would only really be advanced 2 or something like that. I guess thats kind of what I have been getting at all along. Thanks.

1. What type of grease do I use on the pv's? It says like dihydrocaron trimoly sulfide or something(please translate). 2. I went to put on my head and the head gasket is like 3 pieces. 3 metal gaskets rivited together. Do I use all 3 or just one. I have never seen anything like it. Thanks.

Wheres the cheapest place to get a full hinson clutch setup$How much $ am I lookn' at anyway? I stripped out my cluthc boss and figured I'd go for the whole thing, unless anyone has a good used clutch boss for sale.

Ok, heres what I've got exactly and it doesn't seem to work. It doesn't turn the powervalves when power is on. I haven't got far enough to start it up.

What color of wires do you have coming out of your cdi? I have a 52y with an orange, red/white, white/red, green/white, green, brown, black, and black/yellow. There is no black/white coming out of my cdi. There is no black/yellow going into the pv controller just one going to the ypvs motor. I do have a black/yellow coming out of the pv controller though. I don't know if I am making sense or not but thanks for your help.
