this is my 2nd banshee. the first 1 i had just had basic bolt ons and was what i called fast (not really). the shee i have now has a long rod kit w/usual bolt ons on it. i ride with a couple of guys who like to talk trash about how fast thier "junk" is. im more of a woods/trail/jumper not really a drag race guy. (if im drag racin im gettin on my busa). however, with drag racin in my background i got tired of the trash talkin and got on here to see what to do to make my shee run. after searchin around on here i decided to get a cool head w/18 cc domes and a timing plate +4*(110 octane fuel). just got everything back together today and all i can say is damn this mother will roll. when i first got on it it was spinning its a** off through the first 3 gears (on pavement) and held the power all the way to the top of the powerband. cant wait to get on those b******. only problem now is traction. i know it isnt a drag banshee but i just wanted to say say thanks to the guys that replied to my threads and helped me decide on which way to go. so...thanks

i need the seat cover (or whole seat) however your getting rid of it. dont need the plastics. price shipped to 38053.

got a taillight and cc grab bar from him. it didnt get here as quick as i thought it should and i bugged the s*** out of him about it. it totally wasnt his fault (USPS = slow mo) and the pieces were like new. thanks bro and sorry again!! will

any certain brand? and how hard to install?

my shee is a trail bike only. mostly fast woods/hare scramble/hill climbing type riding. it has the usual bolt ons. pipes, jet kit, pro flow, cool head w/18 cc domes. compression is 175. couple of ?'s would a timing plate b any help in the woods? if so, +4, +5? i know to keep an eye on the plugs but has anybody changed to a cooler plug after installing a timing plate? whats the gap? i think this is my next mod but i wanted to ask the experts. which are the guys here. thanks

did the cover go with the grill? do you have blue tank plastic? are you selling the whole seat or just the cover?

if you have to have all of the racing equipment i dont know if im very interested. what difference does it make as long as you have a helmet and goggles. if you sign a wavier you should be able to race. i dont understand the chest protector, jersey and pants. boots, helmet and goggles make sense though.

bought a banshee from a guy and trying to get it back to trail riding abilities. i need a brake light with bracket(that works, i ride at night sometimes), a cross country grab bar (the stock 1 is jacked so im just gonna get a nicer 1), and rad. cover and tank plastics. i have red would consider any color(except red), but blue is my preference. would buy complete plastics for good price. thanks for the replys. finally got everything together after a 2 hour trip to the 24 hour autozone in memphis for a $5 hose and clamp. damn that sucked. cranked it and guess what. 1 stud was leaking from the o-ring. it was cold as crap and i was tired so i just pushed it off into the corner. going to fix it today. thanks again
