  5. Is there any cheap way to put spark arrestors on a FMF Power Core2. Going into an area that requiresa em , don't really want to buy new silencers - 99rr
  6. More studs. 99red_roostr
  7. PaddleMasters - very rugged paddle, made for mud,snow,etc. etc.
  8. Just got some Razr 2's rear - Huge soft lugs - haven't tried em yet. 99rr
  9. After loosing mine & son loosing his, and spending good$ on a new one I now = have a bungee as a teather (if it falls off you don't loose it!). And by setting it 1 tooth tighter on the splines it sit tight against the clutch case ( I put some rubber bumpers on it so it's not metal to metal) - it does not rattle at ALL. cost nothing & is very easy. 99red_roost
  10. I rode a 100% stock one in great shape. . P.O.S. felt like a nice Blaster, I'll take a nice Shee anyday. 99rr
  11. Did you remove the slides in the carbs - they might be in backwards ( left in right right in left) 99rr
  12. My vote is jetting, check the color of the plugs, the should be light brown. 99rr
  13. Stillwater ----> 99rr
  14. Ive done it a few time - even with 300+ studs per rear tire no need to be on the bars, but bundle up - hahahha -20o outside and doing 90mph - yep it gets cold. I'll just need to practice some starts and figure it out - 1st, 2nd We'll see. the ice get 3 ft thick!! Usually we just run the river and kill all the 4 strokes,, dead starts I haven't done much. 15. I run PaddleMasters in the snow, very very rugged tire that takes tons of abuse, and wheelie in snow!!! Also good in sand , mud and gravel. Its the ticket!! 99rr
  16. Its pure Drag racing, for $$. Soft suspension in the rear?? for better bite? 99rr
  17. Anyone have advice on set up & techniques for Drag ice racing beside stud the heck outa the rears, and some in front to keep you straight. 99rr
  18. If its a TrailTek don't get to excited . I have one and set it exactly to my tire size and all was cool. I could hit 80 in dirt ( fair amount of mods, but needing a rebuild). Then I moddit it and rebuild, up a tooth, & hit 107 mph - sh*t my pants. Got a GPS and the fun was over best is about 90 mph. I think it just goes nuts sometimes or can't go that fast or something, recalibration to a bigger tire is in order. Anyway I still like it, when I'm 1/2 way out of gas is a good thing to know! Enjoy!!!

  20. Rode a Blaster for a few years, wanted a Banshee-checked out a modded one for sale - front end would not stay on the ground on pavement, felt like a bomb going off when it hit power, almost uncontrolable -->> :') - bought it!! ps- son (16) got one a few months later, he couldn't stand it!!
  21. Thanks - thats the ticket I was looking for - I was thinking you get more performance if the air is cold and the engine is Hot ( more expansion ) . I'm gonna block it off till I'm 160 or so. 99rr
  22. In the tips section I read about blocking the air that sneaks around the radiator. so it forces all the air through. Sound like a good idea if you running hot. I'm on the other end its below 100 when ridden hard (in winter). 99rr
  23. Just install a temp gauge, its 20oF out side, when warmed up Shee's running about 80oF - 90oF. Should I block off the radiator a bit to increase the temp. I'll deal with jetting, but what would the best operation temp be?? Eventually it will be -20oF, I live in Minnesota. ps Paddle Masters kick serious roost in snow!! 24. Nix the twist throttle - you will kill yourself in the whooooops! & don't go small front tires, you loose to much travel and will bottom out the frame. 99red_roostr
