Wow, I really feel stupid right about now. I thought because Dawn couldnt talk & was only responding to a few comands that she was still comatose, Not the case. She has actually been out of the coma for about 2 weeks now. She is starting to speak(even though it hard to understand) she is doing it. She is abeying many more commands and has been trying to get out of bed on a regular basis. The Physical Therapist has been working her like an Old Plow Horse to make her progress as quickly as possible and she is making a little more headway every day. I think she wants to go home. As far as the Benifit Concert, It is coming together real fast but we are running out of time. We are devoting endless hours promoting it. Tickets sold have already covered the venue and then some, now everything else goes to Dawn. Not only is she a beautiful Supervising ER Nurse, she is a fellow rider. So anyone in the Ventura County area still looking for something to do on March 11th, come out & have a few drinks, do a lil dancin, have a few more drinks & let your hair down.We have people coming all the way from Paso Robles for the show. I guarranty it will be the place to be. Thanks again Craig

I cant than all of you enough for your support. This post is going to be a little long so please bear with me. I am sure none of you know my son Guy (Dawn's Fiance). He has a Blues Band, Guymartin.com is the website. 1 of his most frequent venues is the Ventura Theater. He has opened for Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Slash & his Blues Band, BB King, Jeff Healy and I am sure many others that I cant remember right now. He has also played his rendition of the Star Spangle Banner @ the Staple Center for a Clipper & Miami Heat game @ has played the House of Blues. He is kind of a celebrity here in our lil town. Now the Ventura Theater has offered their venue for a fund raising concert for Dawn. The 1st 100 tickets go to the house, the rest go to Dawn,s Trust Fund. The place holds 1100 people, we have a chance to raise a couple bucks to help this sweet young lady out. The concert will be held the eve of March 11th. It will be GMG(Guy Martin Group) Members of Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy(maybe the whole band) & we dont know who else @ this point. What I ask of you, is anyone that plans to attend this concert please purchase your tickets from me because I want to personally thank each & everyone of you for your help. Latest update. Things the last couple days have been very good. Friday they took her out of ICU, yesterday Dawn was moved to CMH, the hospital where she works, I went to see her yesterday afternoon. When I got there her eyes were atleast half way open & when I talked to her, she looked @ me. Today my son Guy took her flowers & some candy hearts. He would lick the hearts then rub them on Dawn's lips, she would then lick her lips and wait with her mouth open for another taste. I didnt get to see that because by the time I got there she was real tired. We also got word from the doctor that her latest MRI looks very promising. Once again I would like to thank everyone for the support & prayers.

Just an update for those who would like to know. This week Dawn had to have a couple of plates screwed to her jaw because it was broken. The procedure went well, but kind of set her back a little. She is once again off the pain meds. Today we got quite a surprise when she opened her right eye for about 2 mins. She didnt make eye contact, but still she opened it. Also when the nurses are washing her hair they can feel her trying to lift her head. Thanks again everyone. David, I didnt forget your CD, just been real busy. I will try to get it out this next week. I hope you enjoy it.

LS7, I am so sorry to hear about your friends Cuz. Give me a name, I will pray for him/her everyday. Life really sucks when someone you love is in pain an dnot doing well.

01 I wont waste anymore energy with you. But on a possitive note Dawn has been breathing on her own, so no more respirator. And she is moving alot. Things are really starting to look up for her. Thanks again for all the prayers. Thanks Craig & Family

01bansheefox, this is far from a game! And if you cant see that, you need to open your eyes and see that I am crying out to anyone and everone I can to get a few more prayers. SHOW SOME FING COMPASSION Is that asking too much? I hope that you never have to go through what we are going through now. I guess right about now you are showing that you must be one of the PUNK KIDs I hear about on here all the time. Up until now everyone that has posted has atleast be supportive. 317 views and only 23 replies???????????? YOU GUYS ARE WEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But for those of you that did post THANK YOU VERY MUCH Yes I know some of you prayed & didnt post and thank you too! Dawn is starting to show some movement. She is still in a Coma, they are installing a Trake Tube tonite. We had 1 Doctor basicly tell us that what you see is what you get. Talk about a downer. Then another Doctor told us not to give up, that she felt good thing were to come. Lastnite in the waiting room was like a party everone was smiling & laughing. Then security showed up to shut us down.

I would really and truly like to thank everyone for their support. It looks like Dawn's vitals have stabilized and she looks much better than she did, But the doctors think that due to the injury to the Brain Stem even if she comes out of the Coma, the quality of life will be deminished. Now the imediate family has to contemplate how Dawn would have wanted this handled. Have any of you discussed with your loved ones what you or they would want done if one of you were in this possition? I know its hard to even think about, but it is a nesessity. Can you even begin to imagine how difficult it is going to be for the parents to make these disissions for their little girl. My son will have virtualy on say in the matter because they werent married yet. Sorry for rambling on. Please just think about what I said.

WOW, Thanks to the "few" that could find a couple extra seconds to support a fellow rider.

Today my soon to be daughter in law was in a horrible auto accident. She is in a Coma w/bleeding of the brain and we can only hope for the best. She is a very beautiful 36 year old woman, she has wonderful daughter that I dont think even knows about the accident yet. I am not a very religous man, but I have been praying for her all day long. If everyone could please find it in their heart to take a few moments and pray for Dawn it would mean so very much to me and my family. Thanks Craig

I used to have a FN-FAL 308 full auto, Had to be the badest gun I have ever owned or shot. I shot an Ingrhams Mac10 that my buddy had, it pretty much just sprayed the bullets. Ahhhh the good old days. Now here in Cali if you dont have a buddy that has some land you have to go to an actual range to shot anything, even 22's.

I wouldn't run any more than a 8 paddle. More paddles will drag you down on topend on a mildly modified shee.

1st off I have to apologise to those who wanted pictures. With end of month & end of fiscel year @ work I have been so busy doing inventory @ the shop. After this weekend I promise to get pics of the pipes up for those who wanted them. As for the reeds "stuffers" are kind of like the dividers that Vforce reeds have. Supposed to increase volocity.
