Here's a new concept since Yamaha won't be doing the Banshee (or blaster) any more. This thread can now merge with the jet ski thread.
http://www.gibbstech.co.uk/mediacentre/quadski.php
Just combine both ATV & watercraft and there you have it. It'll probably beat the badger.

your signature inspires me
Smoke em if u got em.
I could go for a cuban. going to need to make a canada trip soon.

he lives. .. long time man.

I guess since this is a pc-geek thread I'd post the monster I built last fall. (at least it was a monster then. now it's ancient in computer years).
P4 3.0 GHz, Radeon 9550, 1.5 GB RAM, 360 GB hd's (a 200 & a 160gb), tv card, Soundblaster Live 5.1 (not the value card), water cooled, dvd burner, and some fancy red lights.

Well you're in luck, cause over here we have a new rule. no one gets banned. not that you'd get banned but b/c of bluetraxx might ban..nmd, u get it.

Eddie Vedder said it best: Worldwide Suicide.

OK. How about if we had 10 mini Ditakas and one full size Norris. Now who?
Put it on pay-per-view and I'll order it.
-
Hey Lee, reading your sig, who wins? Chuck Norris or Mike Ditka?
If i had to make a scenario of it, I'd say Mike Ditka would be right up in Chuck's face yelling & pulling punches. But then Chuck would just roundhouse kick him. He tends to do that a lot.

Either way, they're going to have to pull a rabbit out of their hat to replace the 'shee. It became a staple for Yamaha sport quads.
according to my clock 35 mins to go. Damn, if i posted this 10 minutes from now there'd be 25 minutes to go; one of the best one's Johnny Cash did.

Whever the best one out of the new lineup is, I might have to start making a site for. :baseball_original:
since the banshee won't be in there.

Maybe we can do a BansheeHQ cruise. Wonder what the discount rate is when 10,000 people sign up for it.
Do some partying, some gambling. The whole deal
I'm up for a jamaica cruise.

Funny this topic came up. I'll probably be getting one soon as well. Thanks for the info CutieGirl

That would do some serious anal damage. :yelrotflmao:
don't try this/that at home.

that has got to go down as one of those things you just don't try. Funny as hell from the guys watching his ass get burned though.
BTW, i never edit other's posts, but the link was messed up so I fixed it for ya.
if it's a link to a video or pic, just copy & paste the URL.
If you want a pic from another page show up, click the img button.

I like the idea that Vista will be a vector-based graphics OS but, frankly I can't go out & get any MS product until the first service pack is out. Or at least, can't put it on a production pc. I'm thinking Vista will be a good upgrade though after the service pack.
By then I think I'll be on linux pretty much 90% of the time. The new Debian and Suse builds are pretty slick.

We're going to have to make this thread into BRA. Banshee Riders Anonymous.
me: "Hi I'm Lee, and I'm an HQ junkie."
crowd: "and so am I"

You can't ride a bike anymore unless you live in a rural town.. fuckin yuppie ass women and there 50$k suv's just come barreling down the road on the cell phone... 20mph under the speed limit while cutting across 3 lanes of rush hour traffic trying to get on the highway... fuck everybody else...
Mike
Amen Brotha. Not to mention the teenage girls on their celly's pulling out of nowhere (I avoid at least one everytime I go riding around here).
As a rule, most bikers in general are more tuned to what's around them because they have to be. Otherwise you wouldn't last long out in the busy/metro areas.
Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule, and those are the guys that stick out like a sore thumb and people use as the bad example biker.
As for things flying at you and hitting you. Don't forget Cigarettes people flick out their window without looking in a mirror to see if they're gonna smack a biker in the face with it. I've had one bounce off my shirt just last month.
I wouldn't trade my bike for anything though. Except for maybe the new Triumph 675.

Chris has the best sig yet. You just can't go wrong with Meatwad and Master Shake.

The server is a unix based server.
I have open tickets with Invision currently.

I'm a big fan of BitDefender Pro v9.
the pro version has a firewall (internal registry and external ports), spam blocking, antivirus, and constant monitoring.

So game4all is intentionally attacking the HQ? I dont know how any of this works but why would the same site constantly send viruses here? Are the owners of the site just retards that dont know the what the definition of subtle is?
Thanks for replying Lee.
Essentially a 'bot', is source code/programming set up, that when it's executed, is to perform artificial intelligence tasks. In our case, the bot scours the net for certain vulnerabilities. Once it comes across one it can penetrate, it simply injects code which calls up trojans, spyware, or whatever it's programmed to do.
I have all the patches in place for the forums as called for by Invision Power Services (the developers of the HQ"s forum software). I also have the directories the files were in that got compromised last week set up with stronger permissions/restrictions than Invision requires. However, the bot found another file to edit. I quickly reverted the file back to the clean version and set the restrictions on it as I did above with the others. I would like to be able to set that for the whole forum directory, but unfortunately, there are areas that need to have somewhat open/limited restrictions.
I know it's a royal pain in the ass, but myself as well as others are on it. Just like the other bugs/issues we've resolved in the past.

But if they were all coming from the same site isnt there something Lee could do to at least inform games4all.biz of what's going on? If it is an intentional attack cant the authorities be notified?
Yes, and I've done both. This time it was a different file. which leads me to feel good about the file privileges I set last week on the other area it was going into. Meaning, It appears I solved the issue from one angle, but they came at a different angle this time.

DOnt pay new. Checkout craigslist theres gobs of bikes people are selling, get one almost new for thousands less than what a dealer would cost.
I agree. Let someone else eat the new bike cost. You'll get a much better bang for your buck after someone's paid the interest on it for a couple years.
