  1. aluminum is a pain in the balls when its oil soaked. the crack is probly saturated along with the backside. if it were mine i would take it apart and clean the backside with acetone in all directions of the crack for several inches. do the same on the front side. V the crack and drill a small hole at each end of the crack so it doesnt take off when u lite up. a quick preheat in a oven isnt a bad idea either

  3. Yeah, haven't ridden in years. I blew my back out about 10 or 11 years ago and haven't been able to ride. Still, have my Banshee in hopes one of these docs figures out my situation. But yeah, go ahead, dig in. The last big ride I went on was Glamis. I think that was 06 or something. We had a group on this site that got together at Dumont, Glamis, Some Coal hills in PA, Silver Lake. Lot of fun.
