  2. Hi, I've got an old banshee that we got for trade and it runs like garbage. It had a Wieseco top end rebuild stock bore. It starts up first kick and idles great. Under partial throttle the left cylinder completely goes cold and does not fire what so ever. When you give it full/a lot of throttle it fires very aggressively and the power comes on so hard it tries to rip you off the bike. I re-jetted it changed plugs along with some simple things but i can't seem to get it. Any help and insight would be awesome because i'm in Canada and it starting to get cold already...winter is coming.

  4. I have changed plugs and swapped wires. When you first start it it runs great you will be riding and the left side will drop stop and leave it idling it may pick up and it may not. And while you're riding it it may also pick up. Both cylinders have around a hundred and thirty-five lb of compression

  5. I put brand new pilot and main jets in and they're super clean, no blockage. The spar plugs are getting pretty fouled (too rich) but when I put the right plug on the left side, the left still does not fire. I've also switched the coils and it does not help. I have not compression tested it yet.

  6. This thing just pisses me off. Pulled the carbs, swapped the 142 mains for 148s. Put it back together and it felt a little better, but not much. So I pulled those, and bumped straight up to 155s and set the air screw at 2.5 turns out. Went to test ride it and for a second it felt like it might be better, then grinding and the back end locks up and it dies. I look to see what happened and apparently the axle bolt came loose and got caught in the sprocket. So it is bent to hell and I'm going to have to torch it off, try and fix the adjuster bracket and get another before I can test the carbs again. I'm fairly positive I'm sick of it already though. No matter how well it runs if it ever runs right. This is pretty much a mission to make it work and sell it and hopefully not totally lose my ass on it.

  7. Are you sure the left side works good at idle too? If not check the pilot jet for blockages. Are you getting enough of fuel in the mid range? Check the needle height. Might be fuel, or electrical, check the spark too. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
