absolute powder has alot of good stuff and good prices.

Here are the suppliers I use. You kind of have to play around with the different ones because one companies "gloss black" can be WAY more glossy or easier to work with than another's.

Here's a pic of my oven I build for cheap, I just did a Banshee frame last night in it and I think banshee frames are probably the biggest frames you'll run into.

That oven! What consisted of building that?

 

 

It's made from aluminum wall studs, thin sheet aluminum, pop rivets, an old gutted kitchen oven, and mineral wool for the insulation.

 

It's 7' tall 3' wide and 3' deep.

 

Pretty easy to build, I bought everything from home depot except for the mineral wool which I got at an industrial insulation supplier.

Well, I don't remember all the costs but here's what I can think of off the top of my head:

 

Metal studs: about 7-10 of them 7' tall at about $4 each

Rolls of sheet aluminum: 4 rolls at about $15 each?

Heat duct tape: 2 rolls at $8?

Cement board for the base: $7

Mineral wool: $60 but had a bunch of extra

Oven: FREE Craigslist :biggrin:
