I got a nice set of purple nets for graydon proline nerfs that don't match bike. Would like to trade for black or red. Will buy if cheap.

hey pimp, why dont you just go to the store and get a small box of rit clothing dye and do up your purple ones. the dye isnt more then 4 bucks and it lasts. it would probley be easier then trying to swap them.

That's exactly what I did! I put the rit dye in a small tub and soaked the nets in it overnight, let em dry and they turned out pretty good. I changed the color from blue to black...hope this helps!

I had given the dye some thought but i thought the dye wouldn't stay in the nets since I get her wet alot :P. I pressure wash the sheet out of her when I'm through ridin her hard . Hey BigBoy do you have and pics of your nets dyed? I see Rockymountainatv has some DG nets for 17.99 which is nowhere near as cheap as the dye. I'll probably give it a few more days if nowone trades and try the dye. Thanks for the input.

you can pressure wash the nets and also throw them in the washer and the color wont bleed that bad. i died a set of yellow ones to black about a year ago and they are just now starting to fade a bit, but another quick dip in the dye will fix that.

Cool I'll probably give that a try. Where did you get your dye? Where do you live in Cali. I'm right outside of Fresno.

I just dyed them yesterday and they turned out great. Well worth the $4.00 I guess. My only problem now is how to get the dye out of my new jeans and off the wall. Yeah I had a little accident and splashed some out. Guess I should have listened to my wife. Let's see $4.00 for dye, -$20.00 for new jeans, paint for wall -$8.00 dollars = -$24.00. I suggest anyone doing this to do it in the garage with some old clothes on. Just for the record the nets look like new. Thanks for the info guys.

ok mink, here you go.

1. remove nets from nerf bars.

2. clean them of any dirt.

3. go to any store and buy a box of "rit" clothing dye

4. go home and read the instructions on the box of rit.

5. read them again, you dont want to mess anything up.

6. remove freshly dyed nets from pot of dye and hang them out somewhere to dry.

7. re-install nets to the nerf bars.

8. go ride and get them dirty again !!!!
