I know its a little off topic but how would I do it to add a brake light instead of the regular tail light? I want to add a 450r tail light...

I'm not sure of what you are asking... I added a brake/tail... Mine is just smaller and relocated... Still functions as noal light did. As long as the light you use has 3 wires... You should be ok

You'll need pressure bolts/switches on your front lever and rear caliper to make a stop light work if your banshee is pre 2002, from then on they were fitted with them on it

Good call... Mine being 03 i forgot that little factoid

So unless I convert it to dc its not possible to use this light?

You can use almost any LED product with your stock setup, with the exception of high-power LED's.

High power LED's require a very specific input voltage. Usually within a range of 1/2 of a volt. Obviously you've watched your stock lights dim at idle, and get super bright at full throttle. The reason for this is halogen and incandescent bulbs will operate on just about any voltage, up to a certain voltage.

I've never run a 450 rear light, but I have tested numerous LED products on a Banshee electrical system, and think it will work just fine.
