  2. I have a question, I'm putting my bike together after a complete tear down. When you put the A arm back in the spindle, I notice that the A arm nut to keep it in the spindle moves when the spindle moves. Is that why the cotter pin is necessary?
  3. I just send my engine over to redline. And I’m deciding between a 1. stock crank and stock cylinder dune port. 2. 4 mil crank stock cylinder dune port. Im running pump gas, stock swing arm, stock carbs, OEM wheels. I do a lot of uphill trail terrain riding in the woods. Let me know what you all think.

  7. Hello, I accidentally pressed my front brake lever when there was no fluid inside. And it seems as if the “piston” is pushed all the way in, that thing inside the front master cylinder where the lever pushes against. Does this mean I need a new master? Or will it come back out after I bleed the brakes? Thank you.

  9. Hello, I plan on running an oversized radiator, cool head and high flow water pumper for my redline 4 mil stock cylinder, along with engine ice. Has anybody ever used a high flow water pump?
  10. 1. Check the spark plugs again, make sure it’s a bright blue spark. 2. Clean the carburetors. 3. Check for fluid leaks (gas, coolant etc) 4. Do a compression test just to make sure. 5. Do a leak down test as well. Are you running TORS?
  11. Hello, I’m sending my engine off to Cam shortly, and I’m getting a 4mil stock cylinder dune port. I have 26mm mikuni carbs I plan on putting back on there. Im running FMF exhaust and pod filters. Do you think a bigger carb is necessary? I plan on running it fat for the brake 310 main, 30 pilot, and then eventually properly tuning it in, I’m at sea level
  12. I just purchased a GPI radiator. It looks good, rubber grommets fit well and all. My only concern is the radiator is slightly, very slightly touching the steering stem at the bottom. The steering isn’t effected at all, but I wonder how that’s gonna turn after turning the steering stem 10million times and I rubbing constantly, it’s literally a slight touch.
  13. I’m running OEM A arms. Standard banshee shocks are 13.4. Would those fit?
  14. Hmmm, the hole in the steering stem is slightly larger than the holes in the lower brackets, how are the bolts the same sizes?
  15. Quick question, I’m rebuilding my banshee, quick question are all the three mounting bolts the same sizes? The bolt that goes into the left side of the steering stem, is that one slightly fatter width? I notice that the hole in the steering stem is slightly larger than the ones in the lower brackets.   16. Hello, I’m looking for aftermarket tie rod ends. OEM tie rod ends are super expensive damn near 200 for all four. But I see some aftermarket one for about 30 bucks for all four. Has anyone ever run them?

  18. Hello Banshee Community, I’m looking for a radiator to buy for my banshee. I don’t want to spend 200 plus. I wanna keep it simple, but good. I saw some from CHR, mishimoto, etc. Which are on eBay for 100 bucks. Let me know if any of you have ever ran them. I live in New York, our winters get cold and our summers get hot. I need a radiator that won’t let me down, start leaking, crack etc. thank you!!!

  21. Hello Banshee Community, I’m sending my engine to redline for a rebuild. However, I’m not to sure the route I should go. Whether 4mil? Etc. I would like to run pump gas, and an OEM CDI. I’m flexible on the carbs. Also reliability is my first and last priority. I go to the trails often a lot of hills, therefore low end-mid power is important. Any suggestion and advice is welcomed. Thank you.

  23. ^^^^^yup, and try to fix that hose leak. Also, I would reccomend a plug chop. Go on YouTube watch South Texas banshee, a plug chop gives you an idea on how the engine is running, the color on the spark plug will tell you whether shee’s running lean or rich. I live in New York, which is an anti four wheeler state. But if you live in the backwoods somewhere and you got the space. Get out to the wide open field and get that plug chop done. Hope that helps bro.
  24. I would start with the basic. 1. Find out where that leak is coming from 2. Check the compression on both cylinders. 2. Clean carburetor. 3. Make sure your premix ratio is right. *i use high octane pump gas and Yamalube. Hope it helps bro.
