YFZ hubs are shorter. If you swap over to YFZ spindles you cant use your banshee hubs unless you get some short castle nuts , OEM wont align cotter pin holes.

yes as long as the piston shaft is not corroded or pitted, if it is it will eat the new Oring. if the piston shaft is bad you will need to replace the piston ,or you can cut it off and tap the hole for a pipe plug.

it may be a blaster shifter , YFZ450's are aluminum , unless its from an X model they might be steel .

then use dextron atf on a white lint free cloth and wipe out the cylinder till it stops leaving trace on the cloth. then clean it again with brake cleaner to remove atf. the atf is great at pulling crud out of the pores.

that dome looks kind of similar to a modern design TZ 250 chamber ,except for the roughed cut surface finish and sharp angles without any blend radius
