  1. That link described it alot better. I'll probably go with that setup.
  2. thinking about getting the Magnum basket looked at some online shops and none of them say if the basket comes with bolts to install stock gear on basket. The PE billet baskets come with them. the pics of the packaged magnums don't show hardware. Do they come with bolts and cushions to install gear to basket?
  3. I was thinking about upgrading my clutch. Was looking at the Hinson Clutch Basket with Straight Cut Gears and wonder if the straight cut gears make any difference and if the hinson clutch basket was any good for the price. I have a mod banshee here's a list of some mods i have: 12 port 4mm stroker with 66mm piston set, 20 cc noss head domes, cpi pipes, v2 reeds, Timing Plate +4 deg, k&N filter with mod air box, Keihin Carbs PJ34, Boss Billet manifold. Any clutch ideas would help thanks.
  4. I've order alot from them and only had one shippment take 4 months to receive from them and their stuff is wayyyyyyyyyy over priced thats why i only buy from them if i can't find it some where else. Other than that their pretty good.
  5. All my years of owning two strokes I have never resorted to the liarships. They only know how to sell and promise you everything to make that sale. Once the sale is made they pretty much loose interest in what you want including help and they do say any thing to make you feel better just so you get your ass out the door to make another sale. My opinion he problaby told you to jet that low so you blow the shee up and end up there for them to sell you parts lol.
  6. You could reuse them, but since your that far why not replace them and have a fresh start and not have to wonder how long the used ones will last. They don't cost that much, but if they do wear out it could cost you even more. like mentioned, better safe than sorry
  7. I was in the market for a grizzly since i got a yamaha card and I was wondering when they usually release new models like for 2006. I'd hate to get the 2005 grizzly just to find out the 2006 is better. Unless someone has an idea what the new 06 grizzly will feature? I plan on doing some buying end of June or early July hopefully the new line up should be ready for me. thanks for the help.
  8. I got so many stock engine parts and body I was gonna sell. I only have about a 100 miles use on the stuff, so i figure instead of spending time selling it for nothing I'm looking for a blown or well used banshee at cheap price. Then restore it all for another ride to play with or maybe sell it. It'll Give me something to do in my spare time
  9. I run 16/40 gearing on my passion an it still pulls it like a mother $#$@!. Stock gearing i had no control spun the tires way too much. Nice job done JIM!!
  10. I've been wanting to try it is there a site(s) that sell it. Can't seem to find it. Thanks.
  11. Yeah I ordered some bigger mains 180's I'll start there on my wot run then go down. I just about got it broke in I need to find a wide WIDE open area to do a wot run. I dunno if i wanna take a chance down the road or the $#$@ will have a nice shee in there rotten hands. I was just wondering if mid range was a little lean seems to ping loud, but could be typical on cpi's.
  12. Here's a pic of some test runs of Jims 12port stroker. Tell me what you think as far as jetting. This was from near idle to mid rangerunning with some quick wot bursts. Probably about 10 min run total. They look dry and grey up front, but for some reason looks a little brown in pic. I got 175 mains with i think 45 pilots. I am running amsoil dominator could be why I can't get much color to the plug. Also i have the CPI pipe and they ping some what loud at idle to 1/4 throttle. Is that normal?
  13. Looks good Jim Your off to a great start.
  14. gonna take some time to get use to this new forum. Glad it's back though
