JasonsBanshee Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 While out riding today I lost my kick starter! So I need one now. If you've got one and don't want to rape me on one let me know. Thanks! Quote
lilmegill727 Posted August 17, 2008 Report Posted August 17, 2008 that sucks, did you shut it off then realized you couldnt start it? Quote
JasonsBanshee Posted August 17, 2008 Author Report Posted August 17, 2008 Yea, pretty much. Here's how it happened. When I bought the bike it was missing the screw that holds the kicer all together. I'd been meaning to get a bolt for it. I had rode it many times beroe with no problems. But while at big rock yesterday I noticed the kicker was really loose and flimsy. So I looked at it closely and noticed that somehow the little ball bearing inside there at came out causing the kicker to be really loose. So instead of loosing it I pulled it off and put it in my pocket. Well that worked great for a while. I was keeping it in my pocket and when needed I'd pull it out and use it to get it fired up and place it back in my pocket. Mike, the guy I was riding with has the bolt I needed so he was going to hook me up with it when we got home but somewhere along the ride the kicker fell out of my pocket! When I noticed it was missing we were at the very back of the 2000 acre park at the bottom of a hill. We had to push it and pop the clutch to get it running. LOL good times. Quote
