On the K&N, are you rtunning it as a pod, or in an air box? If it's in an air box do you have a lid or no lid?

I don't know what a "tree shot" is, and I'm not having any luck visualizing the problem your describing. But if you give us some specs we can tell you almost exactly where you should be with the jetting and at least you can eliminate that problem.

i have cut the air box out and have just the front section and the end section ... no lid or anything ... i have the stock pilots and im running like 310 mains.... thats should help some... i got great top end and mid... but when i shift into second when i go up a hill i have to kinda keep giving it gas.... kinda hard to explain.... i ride mainly in sand....

here another example... like if u ride urs in second and u get to a hill and u go up it i have to down shift or the bike will bog down ....

toomey t6

toomey hush kit

310 mains

stock pilots

cut air box with k&n air filter

mohawk sand tires

and 8 paddle haulers.

moose boost bottle..

advanced timing

by reading your post i will assume this is your first banshee.it sounds like a normal banshee to me, sand drags power down the softer the sand the harder it is to ride through. try walking up the same hill and you will get a quick idea of how hard sand is to get through. unless you have a stroker banshee, u can not go up hill in the sand without being in the power band, with a stock stroke shee in the sand its power band or dont ride it. and as far as over reving it , i would say that you should take it for a ride and rev it the the max a few times just so you know how much rpm's these bikes cand do, i think with t6 its like 9000 rpm these bikes have short rods and stroke they get their power from their rpm's
