quikshee Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 Today I recieved my stock cages with boyesen reeds, I immediately took the petals off and ported the cages and they came out pretty clean. I took out my stock reeds and replaced them with the ported cages with boyesen's, i did have to adjust the air screws to get it to idle right. Will I have to change the needle position or the mains to compensate also???? Quote
mopar1rules Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 no you won't have to mess with needles or mains. if i were you, i would have gotten the carbon tech reed petals. i've had the boyessen power reeds and now have the boyessens and like the carbon techs more. Quote
quikshee Posted August 13, 2008 Author Report Posted August 13, 2008 The only reason i've got the boyesens on there is because thats how i bought em, I payed 15 bucks for the reeds and cages and the porting I did myself. Cheap and easy, i've heard good things about the carbon tech reeds too. Thanks for the input Quote
