dragbanshee Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 Im finally getting around to installing my +4 arm I recieved back when things went wrong! Well anyway I took my old arm off and there was not a washer, seal, or a dust cover on the chain side. Is it common to leave the dust cover off when you have a aftermarket chain slider on it? Cause I tried the dust cover from other side and it does not fit in the slider to seat against seal, washer and bearings. It looks like with the slider on and seal and washer that it would seal pretty good, what do think, should I go ahead and get a new dust cover and make it fit in there? Im getting a new slider not sure what brand yet and it sucks having to order and wait on the dust cover to come in. Never know what your going to find on a pre owned quad, heres some pics so far.
