sangheraent Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 i messed up my stator not tighting the bolts after installing my adjustable timing plate and bought a new stator off of here assuming my banshee was a 95 like I was told when I bought it. When installing my banshee i realised its older after checking the vin i learned its a 93. so instead of buying a new stator I just choped off the plug of my ruined stator and wired it on to my 95+ stator after doing all that I connected everything very well and still no spark. first of all is this even acceptable can I even do this? assuming I did this right what should the pickup coil gap be at? has anyone done this and succeeded?
