Hello everyone,

I was wondering what kind of pipes would work best for my setup. I am looking for a pipe that would give me the most around mid-high rpm. Currently, I have fmf's with stock silencers...I know I know, but I just wanted to get it running. I was told t5's by the builder, but I thought I would ask here for a second opinion.

Thanks,

Almost forgot...wiseco pistons, 34mm Mikuni's, K&N's, True Welded Crank, Wicked Port, FmF's, Ported Reeds, Cut Head 180psi,

Sorry, they are the old gold series pipes.

Thats what I thought when I looked at that dyno chart. I personally like those pipes alot and I would keep those if I were you. When they made the T5, they copied that pipe. I still think the fmf has a better midrange hit though.

I'm with Snop on that. Why try and lay out $500.00 to $600.00 for pipes to try and get a couple more horse power. Looks like good numbers to me.

Hey,

Thanks alot guys I really appreciate your input. I am pretty happy with my power as well, but I had to be sure I wasn't missing anything by not switching.

Before I walk away from this topic I just wanted to ask if you think I stand to gain from something like a CPI or Shearer pipe? I understand there is a trade-off with those pipes, but I am curious to hear your opinion on how they would potentially perform with my mods?

Thanks,

Dan
