mdhc500 Posted August 11, 2008 Report Share Posted August 11, 2008 Yes, it sounds like you are having an issue where somthing is shorting out or making a poor connection. When you rev it up enough voltage is being generated to arc and briefly make connection. When you get your meter check continuity to ground on all of the wires that go from the headlights to the harness, from the dimmer switch to the harness, and and from the harness to the stator side. Make sure your swith is on... Also ring the same wires out and check for resistance in ohms. Let us know... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sandunagen Posted August 16, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2008 found problem. it was ground wire on stator. it was still touching screw but both clips broke off. it would vibrate off screww. broke clip off and put wire under screw. works great now. thanks for replies.
