  3. Ive had this kit for a year now. No problems. I had the intakes cut just a little for better flow. I had it dyno tuned and it is pushing 52 hp.

  8. was riding my banshee this weekend, Rode for 2 days. everything was fine till I went to go back to the truck to load up and go home. couldnt shift thru the gears. was lucky enough to be able to ride back to truck. I know I am gonna be pulling the case cover on clutchside, but any suggestions on whats going on? also was wondering if there is a quick fix for engine oil leak coming up where clutch cable goes into motor. any suggestions is appreciated. thanks in advance
  9. the guy that just dyno my quad said youll gain 3 to 4 horsepower and yes a way better throttle response.
  10. check and make sure reeds are good. if reeds are shot it wont run
  11. check ohm reading for the stator. U can check it without removing it from the bike. if the low one is bad and not in speck it will be hard to start. my quad started like that 10 15 times kick then it got worse and worse. took me over a year to find it. 3 different atv shops couldnt find the prob. kept telling me it was carb issues. tried 3 different carbs and still same thing. it ended up being my stator. hope this helps.
  12. fixed it . the piece of shit ricky stator was the problem. got a used stock one and put it on fires right up. First or second kick. thats for info and help to all.
  13. had 330 in last week at dunes. plugs fouled. put in 320 runs great , should i run 40:1 instead of 32:1?
  14. im gonna have stator tested n let you know. i know its not choke. ive used 3 diferent sets of carbs. still same prob. I let yall know the outcome of test later today. thanks
  15. only thing i can think of maybe stator is bad. anyone think this could be it?
  16. sometimes starts first kick when warm, other times gotta pull start it. i have float bowls on correctly. one with brass on outside is carb side.
  17. forgot i had port work and k and n dual pods. thanks
  18. Im having problems starting my shee. I had it dyno tuned last year and have had problems since. i have taking it to 2 different shops and they couldnt fix it. so I did some tear down checks. I checked my reeds and one side was missing a piece. Changed it out. reeds are good, tried cleaning carbs 3 times. I bought a rebuild kit for carbs, set the floats to 21mm, put needle on middle clip, slides are in correctly, choke tube is n place and not cracked.boots are good. I have 150 lbs compression both cylinders. Got fat blue spark both spark plugs. gap is good. my jetting is 320 mains 30 pilots, screws 2 full turns out. im at around 2000 ft. My other mods are Toomey T5, vforce 2 reeds, advanced timing 4deg, coolhead 18cc domes, i run 100 octane gas 32:1 ratio. I can get it to start with starting fluid, cant use choke, any suggestions would be great. so frusturating to fight it everytime to start. thanks
  19. keep your t5 pipes they are fine. u could add some carbon fiber reeds for a little better throttle response. if you dont know much about jetting you can take it in to a shop that does dyno tunning. they put it on a machine a tune it correctly, and will b able to give you a printout of torque and hp. then you wont have to worry.

  21. could also be choke circuit. i finally took mine down to shop. changed choke pin also change pilot and main. could also b the hole in the bottom bowl of carb on left side. take bowl off and use air compressor blow it out. mine starts on second kick now. i had same problem as u
  22. found problem. it was ground wire on stator. it was still touching screw but both clips broke off. it would vibrate off screww. broke clip off and put wire under screw. works great now. thanks for replies.
  23. they sell tools for stripped nuts at sears. maybe 15.00 set. work very well. or if u want try a cold chisel and hammer break it off. might damage rim in process. so buy a set or removers.
  24. i hooked my tail light back up. still same problem.
