Plugs backing out usually means it's getting a lean detonation. You definately should NOT run it after this happens. Check your timing, check for air leak, check your jetting, etc.

What size jets are you running? You should do a leak down test befor you ride it anymore. Better safe then sorry. Definitely dont up the timing if it is pushing the plugs out now... From what I understand 185psi is about all you want to run for compression.

I was running 195-200lbs on mine with 13 on the plate.. but i'm running alky too..

Like okbeast and moneybags said.. i'd do a leak down and if that passes... you must be lean your jetting..

Where did you get your domes? Did you have them cut? What is your squish at? I ran a gas motor at 195 psi for two seasons...I did back out the plugs on a couple occasions, but the few times, something was not right(lean jetting, and had oring sealing problem causing a coolant leak). And as mentioned, definately don't up the timing till you get it straightened out. Oh, and one other question. Are you running a stock cdi?

Obviously its not a good idea to go to +8 timing if your backing the plugs out at +7. Yes it sounds like its too much. Hard to say exactly without some squish numbers to back up the suspicion. Another option is to track down some 114 octane.
