TeamRealtreeHD Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 Guys, I sold my stock hubs and ended up getting these. Not sure who makes them, bought them on ebay and the seller n ever got back to me. I kind of got screwed I think because they didn't come with the lugnut studs to screw the lugs/tire onto. They also have a splice in them, and one picture shows that a bolt needs to go into the side to keep them from opening. My luck... anybody know who might make these hubs, or where I can find there studs? The holes are threaded Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted July 30, 2008 Author Report Posted July 30, 2008 Does anyone know how to get these to work?? Quote
BURRITO Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 Does anyone know how to get these to work?? Those are Lonestar Hubs. I have them on my bike. The studs (that are missing) are just metric bolts threaded in from the back side. The pinch bolt is a standard thread allen/cap bolt. After you obtain/install the necessary hardware just slide them onto your axle, snug down the castle nut, and tighten the pinch bolt. Quote

TeamRealtreeHD Posted July 30, 2008 Author Report Posted July 30, 2008 Burrito, thanks for the response. These are missing the nuts though, the studded threaded rods. And I don't think you can get them anywhere. Also missing the side screw that tightens them up since they are slit. More bad luck for me... Dammit Quote

TeamRealtreeHD Posted July 30, 2008 Author Report Posted July 30, 2008 Well most probably won't believe this, but 3 different hardware stores couldn't fit these up. The clerks couldn't even believe they didn't have 1.5" or 2" bolts to fit these fine threaded hubs. Unbelievable. Should be rather amusing to give lonestar a call and get pricing on each one of the 10 bolts I need  Quote
