for a +6 can you just replace the spring? what does revalveing do? what happens if you don't revalve it? how hard is it to swap the spring, need any special tools?

sorry for all the questions I'm only going to be home for 12 days and I don't want any problems

Revalving changes the way the shock reacts. You will see and improvement in traction and ride control. A new spring is important in keeping everything working together properly. Think of the valving as the brain and the spring as the muscle. If you run without the correct spring rate likely you'll wear the shock out sooner and possibly render it un-rebuildable.

I ran a stock shock on a +6 w/no problems... duned it and drag raced it, just no big air. Any longer than 6 and all bets are off.
