rev limiter?

does the banshee have a rev limiter. i just rebulit my moter and had it ported from FAST. i have a set of t-5. before i had it ported i never noticed it before. but when i rev it all of the way out it sounds like i am hitting a rev limiter.

No rev limiter on the Banshee. False rev limiter can be electrical. I had that happen once and it was the stator.

No rev limiter.

Porting, exhaust pipes, intakes, carbs, ignition, compression...etc., all play a part on how far the engine will rev and how far it will pull, but....no rev limiter.

 

Check the electrical first....then check the jetting.
