18/38 Setup.

Hey, I would like to purchase an 18/38 setup if anybody has one. I can't seem to find them online anywhere. I have a 40 rear from Sprocket Specialists, but I would like to go taller. If anybody has either, please let my know ASAP. I will paypal you the money and you can overnight it to me.

You might have to go with a honda rear sprocket hub..I think you can get a 38 in that. Or get higher ratio primary gears.

Higher primary gears is something I will be looking into shortly. I just want to see if this setup gets me to where I need to be in the 1/8th mile. Any suggestions on what sprockets I should start out with? This is what I will be running;

 

14mil Cheetah with a 73 bore

41 Mikuni alky

1-5 override

20" American Racers on a 10" rim

 

All the other important stuff is in my sig. Total race weight should be under 280lbs.

Nevermind, I just paid an arm and a leg through Sprocket Specialists.

 

Did you know that they have 74 tooth rears for the banshee!? Hahaha, that bitch would stand right up at the crack of the throttle!

Vito's performance has the 38 rear, not sure about the 18 front.

for the 38 th rear a spocket, run a YFZ 450 rear spocket hub, fit on banshee axe, and have 38 th available

But Just so everybody knows. Sprocket Specialists Have everything for a 1987-1988 Banshee, to include 11-19 fronts and 37-74 rears. They also have 11-19 fronts and 38-74 rears for the 1989-2004 models.

 

Their chart on their website is a little hard to read, but I found it.
