mopar1rules Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 i ported (matched transfer area to the lower transfers of the cylinders) the upper crankcase half of my shee engine this weekend, and was wondering how much it will effect my jetting? i was thinking i could up my mains 1 size? what do you guys think? burleybanshee Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 I would do a plug chop on a warmed up engine with a set of new plugs and check. I kinda doubt you will have to change a main, maybe tweak your idle adjustment, but thats about it. Really not that much of a gain espically with your current engine mods. Yes it will give maybe a pony or two on a heavier modded porting, pipes and carbs. Quote
