I just put the 27.5 jets in. Went down from the 30s. And still same problem Banshee starts cold and runs good and idles good and everything. But when I shut it off It will not kick start. I have to tow start it to get it running again. I have no idea what this problem is. Mods are in sig elevation is 1400' And its about 105degrees. I think its either that new Ricky stator fuckin with me or I need another top end rebuild. Compression is about 110 in both. And after It gets warm and I let it sit for like 20 min It will kickstart after about 5 of my hardest kicks. Anyone have any Ideas. Before I just take it to the shop.

:ermm: sounds like the same issues as my bike. I have an 03 the engine is completly stock (for now). I have heard both good and bad about the staters so dont know if there lies your problem. but a few things to check, check compression while its hot also mine is about 5 diffrence from my left and right when its worm its a little more. if my bike is started cold it takes a few kicks but if i run it then shut it down hot and try and start it worm it takes all i have to kick it over. It could be either a week top end, or its flooding your carbs. where is your needle? what engine mods do you have done? what mix are you running? this will help the guys better understand what could be going on with your shee. maybe also check your fuel lines and see if they are plugging up when it gets hot. a buddy of mine tore his bike completly down just to find out his mix was to thick and it was plugging his lines. if you still cant get it talk to slobanshee06 he will help you.

My mods are in my sig. It does start warm but my air screws are 3 turns out. And It would not start warm with my 30 pilots at all. So now I know its a jetting problem. I I think I might need to go one size smaller on my pilot jets.

Thanks for the help tho

I think that may have been a typo, that bike has 270 mains in it...lol

3 turns is damn far out! I would say your pilot has to be rich, but 27.5's should work just fine at your elevation with t-5's. 110 on each side is a little low, but not too bad. Start with the most simple things first. How does your air filter/s look. Are your plugs new? Do you notice any fuel coming from your overflow hoses? Check those things first and report back.

I took my banshee out today fired it up idled good rode it Ran fuckin great. warmed it up.....then It wouldnt idle or kickstart again...Had to push start it.

Air filter is cleaned and oiled new plugs gaped carbs cleaned good no clogged jets and floats are good so they dont leak at all. I used to have to have that problem all the time till I got the inline filter. I guess Im just gonna pay those pricks at the shop there stupid $84.50 So that they can tell me why my banshee wont start warm.
