Ok just got a compression test on new bike. One side 120 with it started and running, the other side 90 with out running. Stock head stock evertything i think. what should it be?

uhh....you took the plug out and ran it on 1 cylinder to get a compression test on 1 side?

i had the tank off and everything. I had one side with a plug and the other with the tester. Was kicking it over and bam fired up, guess there was still fuel in the carbs.

think id probably just redo the test....there probably both pretty close to equal but when it fired up the

extra fast compression probably boosted it more then they other

Ya, you're static compression and running compression are two separate things.

 

Redo for sure, but as a rule of thumb, you want no more than 10% difference between the sides.
