ThrowinRoost89 Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 34mm pj's is the only way to adjust the idle by adjusting the nut on top of the carb caps? when i start the bike it idles nice and low, but as soon as i rev it, it will idle higher. and what are some tips to sync the carbs w/o the tool? PJ idle adjust is part of the choke knob. You will turn the choke knob to adjust the idle. Adjusting carb sync without the proper tools is not recommended but you can get very close by removing the air filter system and adjusting the upper cable tension so both slides pickup at the same time when you hit the throttle. Listen carefully when the slides set down. There should be one click if they set down in unison, two if they are out of sync. Brandon Quote
