250psd Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 I got a rebuild kit for my kick starter lever and I am lost on how to install. The guts were all together missing when I pulled it apart. Does any one have detailed instuctions to put the kit in (spring and ball bearing)? Any help is appreciated! Thanks Dominic Quote
Fearnot Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 (edited) This is from a parts fiche that breaks down the kick start assembly if you have any question just ask. When I rebuilt my kickstarter it rattled a ton put a larger o-ring in (Had one lying around) and packed it with some thick grease and it works perfect slides easy and stays firm during idle. Any tricks? A little grease will hold the spring and ball in place. You might have to push the spring and ball in just a tad bit to get the kick start lever to slide over them. Quote
