rigger Posted May 27, 2008 Report Posted May 27, 2008 Looking for opinions guys. Thinking of maybe selling the Banshee. If I do, should I sell her as a whole or part her out on ebay? Here is what she is. 2000 Banshee. Not in bad shape but not show room by any any means. Not much time on the motor. Still running stock motor with about 120psi on both sides. Fairly new clutch. New chain and sprokets, brake pads front and rear. All fuilds flushed and changed. Cooling system is in good shape. Front a-arm bushings all replaced. new tie rod ends, new swing arm bearings. Dougless wheels front and back that are a little beat up but still roll just fine. Front tires off of a 400ex, rear tires are cut Pure Sport Bandits. Banged up front armadillo bumper, new Tusk nerf bars. Pro-circuit pipes and silencers, boost bottle, AC rear grab bar. Fenders are blue and have the normal wear and tear on them but really for the age, they look pretty good. Runs like a bat out of hell. I would rather sell her as a whole but if it would really bring a lot more money, then I may consider parting her out, if I decide to sell her at all. What do you think she is worth as a whole and what do you think it would bring parting her out. Just to let you know, I have about $2500 total invested in her. Thanks for your thoughts guys. Quote
Wildcardracing Posted May 27, 2008 Report Posted May 27, 2008 You should be able to get $2500 out of it. In my area banshees that age bring anywhere from $2200 to $3000 in good shape Quote
racer Posted May 27, 2008 Report Posted May 27, 2008 $5, but I'm a hell of a guy and will give you $6.50! Quote
rigger Posted May 27, 2008 Author Report Posted May 27, 2008 $3000 plus is what most of them seem to be going for around here too. This one was listed for $3500 when I bought, but I talked it down to $2200 cause it needed a few things. There is another one for sale right now where I live that is older for $3500. I was thinking of maybe putting it up for around $3000 since she is not very pretty. I guess she looks pretty good for 8 years old. I would rather sell her as a whole than part her out. Just seems a lot eaiser. Quote
