I live in St. Clair Shores. Give me details of what your bike is doing or not doing, and ALL of your current setup, including all mods (I know it was recently A&S Ported)...

I'm sure I can help you out.

My good buddy lives in Canton, but....he really deals with alky drag bikes...I might be able to meet you at his house, if he has no objections...

This week/weekend is kinda shot...but I have sometime next week available if you're willing to travel.

Depending on what kind of time frame you are working with, I have to travel to Canton sometime before fall for work.

K&N filter, boyenson Dual stage carbon fiber reeds, Boost Bottle , tors removel, rejected, trail port, compete rebuild (rebuilt stock crank trued & welded, seals, gaskets, bearing top and bottom, top end kit .30 over, rear bearings, painted pipes silver fmf fatty's, milled head 60 something). Got done doing one heat cycle. One problem is when its at Idle when you push the throttle it makes a little click and stalls. Clicking coming from the thumb throttle. Not Done with the heat cycles yet but will be tommorow. Yah this weekend isn't good for me either. Planning on going to bull gap or gladwin. Any help is well appreciated.

Like a cheap hooker on a Navy Ship at Sea....

LOL.

What jetting are you currently running? 60 thou on the head? Did Dan cut the head, did you check squish and compression before firing it up? Or did he assemble it 100%??

Stock carbs??

Dan did a complet assemble. I just put it on the quad and put the carbs on. He put 260 mains and I think stock pilots, don't quote me. yeah he cut the head.

One thing thats getting me is the the little switch under neath the throttle plate on top where the thumb throttle is there is a little switch that clicks. It idles fine untill you tap the throttle and that little switch clicks and wants to stall. Was that part of the old tors or something, or parking brake because they where both removed.

Yes, it is part of the old TORS.

Cut those, unplug the parking brake/clutch wires. Unplug the brain under the tank, disconnect each from the tops of the carbs.

I'm down for helping you out next week if you want to bring it to my crib in St. Clair Shores...

Yeah that would be sweet. I just went and did another heat cycle and had to take off that plate to and pull that switch off to let it idle because it wouldn't with it on. Unless I held the throttle. In reguards to the tors and the parking brake everything is off exept that thumb throttle switchy thingy. Ran pretty nice just needs some ajustments, like idle screws. I think its pretty right on but won't know till tomorrow when I'm done with the heat cycles and take it for a ride.

Idle screws where installed yesterday. I took my carbs and the kit to a machine shop in plymouth and they did a fantastic job. Cost me $20 bucks and let me watch. Well worth it.

By the way the exaust was the same on each side in reguards to how much smoke that was coming out of each. Not a little but not alot. Does that some about right?

That' really doesn't mean much...to be honest.

I have a sync tool, I'm sure we can get your jetting close.

I have no room to rip down the street (and...I kinda like my neighbors...to boot) but I think we can get you squared away.
