motocrossrider68 Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 hey i got some trail tech lights a while ago and after every trip to the dunes the chrome gets worse and worse and it is bubbling off of both lights and i just want to take the chrome off all together and polish them. i put it on a wire brush on my bench grinder but that just makes pits in the aluminium and doesnt want to take all the chrome off. is there some kind of solvent i can let them sit in?? some one told me oven cleaner?? would that work? any help would be great Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
polkaudio Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 There might be some new way now. But the only way I know to remove chrome is take it to a chrome shop and have it "pickled".
