I have been checking out the threads on the oil ratios for awhile now. I have an 05, with Bills Pipes, 28 Keihin PWK's and I run at about 1600 ft. I was curious about my oil ratio. I run at 24:1 Yamalube. I see that some say Yamalube sucks and some say they don't. Anyways, my question is if I change my mixture to 32:1 do I need to change anything else jetting wise or anything??

Thanks

I've been running 40:1 (110oct. with Torco GP7) for years. Never a problem, everything looked great when I tore it down and went to 4mil. As for jetting, the leaner your mix, the richer your fuel. Make sense?

Currently I run a 4mil long rod, cust cut domes in cool head, CPI pipes, a sweet ass DMR port job, 34mm carbs, mod quad intake, k and n clamp-ons, timing +4, v-force reeds.....Haven't ran it on the dyno yet but last comparable motor made 80+ hp at the shop. Had to go to a lock-up since it was smoking the clutch (+1 plate with R6 fibers/Barnett steels/6 Barnett springs)...

what burrito is saying is that if you start mixing at 32 or 40:1 your fuel will be thinner and less resistant to flow so you may end up going down a jet size. Verify this with a plug chop though. 24:1 is way rich, I run yamalube 2R with no problems at 40:1
