throttle springs tough!

I have a little problem, on my after market mikuini carbs, The springs are really tough. This makes the thumb throttle extremely tough and annoying to push in. Are there any solutions to this prob?

I cut two rings off my springs and bent the end in a U shape so it won't hang up when you screw your caps back on. Helped a lot. Just stretch them out after you cut them. Also I bought the Terrycable Dual Gasser, bolted right on. I twist when I'm cruising and thumb when I shred. Then twist again when my thumb cramps up. LOL :thumbsup:
