BBB Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 I have recently melted a hole in my left piston and rebuilt it, but I can only get the left side to "push" steady only if I rip the carb off and clean eveything even though there is nothing in it. PUt it back together runs fine shut it off left side only "pushes" here and there but runs fine in upper rpms check pluggs both are fine. I have been reading different siscusions and have checked everything choke tube is on tight pipes and not cracked silencers are not wet has a uni K&N filter which was just cleaned and charged mixing gas the same 50:1 changed wires around even turned stator plate back to stock was running 4 please help I am about tired of tearing my carb off every time I go riding :: Quote
okbeast Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 What do your plugs look like after you go ride? Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 Check your flywheel pickup gap, and if that doesn't fix it, it may be time for new spark plug boots. Quote
BBB Posted May 3, 2008 Author Report Posted May 3, 2008 if it was my pick up it would do it all the time right???? or would change cylinders when I swopped wires??? I really just dont understand much about electronics but I do know it sparks like hell if you lay the plugs on the eng and kick it both sides that is Quote
