Have you Ohm'd the stator or the Coil?

Have you removed the flywheel, shaken it...and listened for broken up metal.

I'd run an extra ground wire from the motor to the chassis somewhere.

You have a tether kill switch? Try removing that.... What is the air/pickup gas set to?

put a brand new wire harness on....put a new stator on and it ohm'd the same as the old one.. no tether on it... i will shake the flywheel and see .. and check the air gap.. maybe run a extra ground to

my cousins bike did the same thing yours is doing after he thought he didn't need my help shortening my harness. We replaced it and it fired right up. You may have a tors wire shorted or something.

I had the same problem with mine with the new stator... move the coil a little closer to the fly wheel found out with the rick stator..the gap is a little farther away from the fly wheel....
