+12 on stock frame?

can anyone tell me what lenghth marvin I would need on rear if I use +12 on stock frame **no link..?

 

 

or will I have to mock up to figure that out?

safest way to find a length is measure it out. I used 2 jacks. One in front and one in the rear. With a link setup and a +12 arm I ended up going with a 12.25"

I just ordered mine with a +12 no link and measured 12 1/4 just set it on jacks and measure how you want it to sit lengths vary depending on the maker of the swingarm where they locate the bracket on the arm.

thanks for info. Looks like both of you ended up with 12.25 even though one is a link & other is no link? I am using Havoc +12 & I was going to try & order the shock before I tore bike down, but I guess that is not such a good idea huh?

 

is there any room for error ? like 1/2 or so? ..thanks again for replies.
