i dont have the tool to hold the flywheel in place so i can torque the primary drive bolt and the clutch basket bolt and flywheel down...how else can i hold the stuff in place or do i really need the tool??? thanks fellas

if you have old clutch plates you can drill a few holes and bolt them together. that will make the inner and basket lock together so you can tighten it down. for the fly wheel, once the clutch is on, get a rag and wad it up into the gear so it wont spin, tighten down the nut then clean the cloth out of the gears.

If your using an impact; you can put the clutch plates back in and press on them with your hand to keep the basket from moving (as much).
