Help finding race gas

I was buying race gas from Coaches Corner in Joplin, now I am going to have to find another source since they have shut the doors. Tried three airports for aviation fuel but they wouldn't pump it into anthing but an airplane. Apparently the feds are cracking down on the use of av fuel in anything other than an airplane. And VP's customer service has been anything but helpful.

 

Any suggestions?

Try to find a track around you. Most of the drag parks in OK sell race fuel.

you can try the mo kan drag strip off 171 hiway between joplin and pittsburg.

 

or come to where i live at local guy will sell 100LL to you he is in eureka

Im in nw ark there is a couple of places around here that sell it if you want to make the drive. But like beast said try a track, or go through the phone book and look for auto racing equip. Some of those places sale it too.

I used to get AV 100LL from the local airstrip and just pump it into cans and pay with a credit card. They made you type in a tail number so I just looked around and typed one in, but nobody ever bothered me................

i think ark city drags use to sell race fuel. i have not been there in a year :shrug: you might give them a cll and ask if they know any one

Any speed shop or motorcycle shop can get it, but the question is how much are they wanting for their precious fuel. I have a guy locally that is the buyer for a local logging company and the company that they get their fuel from sells race fuel also and he just has it shipped in for me and it is a pretty good price at that. Cheaper than all the local cycle shops..............
