bluev8s10blazer Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 my banshee overheats when just driving around at low rpms for a longer period of time. Im thinking maybe its running too lean off idle. Any ideas of what else the problem could be? i have coolhead with 20cc domes, cpi pipes, stock carbs needle on 3rd notch. ive already bought a prodesign waterpump. its not installed yet but i dont think that is the fix for the problem Quote

_Hex* Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 it depends what pipes if any you have its all about combinations but that looks to be too lean anyway, usually at the shop we put 320's on stock bikes with just toomey's and twin k&n's Quote
brugal Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 Correct me if Im wrong but I think they all overheat when riden slow for long periods of time. Quote

98_shee Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 pull your plugs out and see what they look like. Quote
brugal Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 ive looked and have not found a pilot jet. is there one? The Pilot air jet/screw is the little gold screw on the outside of the carb. The Pilot jet is inside of the carb in the smaller whole youll have to unscrew it. Quote
