bansheeman_05 Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 I just bought a pair of 28mm Keihin PWK's from 23champs here on BansheeHQ. (Thanks again for the great transaction). I am going to be installing them this week sometime and need to know where to start for the main and pilot, as well as the needle. My Banshee is pretty much stock. I will be running the stock airbox and filter, and the only upgrade is a pair of Bill's Pipes and Silencers. The jets in the stock carbs have been changed for the Bill's Pipes, and I also have the stock one. I live in Central PA, around 1600 ft above sea level, and usually ride in weather from 50 to 80. Thanks in advance. Tyler Quote
slowblueshee2 Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 I would say start with 135 or 140 mains, that should put you on the rich side I would think. Pilot I would guess somewhere between 40 and 50. Quote

I looked on the Bills Pipes Site and it recommends with a stock airbox on a Banshee that you are to run 300 mains and 32.5 pilots? That sound sway too rich! PLEASE HELP!!! Quote
jharader Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Thats because your stock carbs are mikuni's man, your now running keihins, they number the jets different or ya you wouldnt last 5 seconds without changing a plug lmao Quote
