I read everyone talk about having only a professional banshee builder to be the one to do porting. I was wondering if the same applies for boring and honing or would a local machine shop be qualified enough to do this? Any suggestions and replies appreciated. Thanks

Any good local machine shop should be more than capable of boring a 2 stroke cylinder but always ask them first. Some may not have a proper way to hold the cylinder if all they do is automobile engines.
