The jaw pullers aren't worth a shit i tried to use them the first time i pulled mine off and it kept slipping off damaging the flywheel, i used the two bolt puller with a impact and came off like a charm. Are you using a impact?

Yeah a Jaw type puller will fuck a flywheel in a hurry.... If you were using a jaw kind, you may as well plan on getting a new flywheel if it was stuck that bad because it will be screwed up. Get a good flywheel puller, and use an impact. Sometimes they kinda weld on a little, but they will come off with an impact and the right puller.

I had an experience once (happened to be a ricky stator) where I guess my woodruff key went with the taper and it took a very stong hydrolic press to get it off. And even then it barelly came off. Most of the pullers are pos china metal that strip easily too. Make sure its in as far as it can go before pulling grease it clean it back it in and out ect.. I buy those in 2`s.

How did you break that bolt? It's kinda hard to do if doing it right.

Once had a bitch of a time removing a wheel even though I had the right puller & impact gun. I leaned her to the side, sprayed it with PB Blaster. Went for a burger, came back & hit it with the gun... off it came with no effort! I buy flywheels by the 2zees

See i'm just kinda worried about using mine, the jaw puller took a tiny tiny gash not even chunk off the outside part of the flywheel. just don't know if it threw the balace off may just go ahead and get a new one to be on the safe side.

like they are saying use the bolt type puller. dab a tiny amount of grease on the threads and where th bolt touches the crank. hit it with an impact and it will pop right off

Word.
