fastrthnu Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 Anyone ever use yamabond or anything instead of paying $13 for a new gasket everytime you take the clutch cover off? Quote
sinisterboo Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 in my opinion, it would work just fine. may be a pain to clean later, but should seal nicely. may make the cover a little tough to get off later. i too think that gasket prices are crazy high. Quote
rusty1100 Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 When I bought mine, the guy before me had a regular gasket, but also had liquid gasket on top of it. I just had to scrape it off, no biggie. Quote
NYUK Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 replacing the gasket on the clutch cover is not a must every time you remove it. yamabond the clutch cover only.install the gasket. when you remove it again it only sticks to the cover. not the cases. it takes a lil care. Quote
