jesse1004 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 what is the difference and is there any difference in hp's. looking at getting some 34's Quote
gregrob Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Well they don't make a 34mm PWK so I gues your stuck with PJ's if you really want 34's. PJ's are Keihin's first attempt at a 2 stroke carb as I understand it. Not bad but the circuitry, operation, and tuneability of the newer PWK's is better all around. I would go with 33PWK's over PJ's, and if you're really set on 34's pick up a set of Mikuni 34mm TM flat slides. Quote
dajogejr Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 If money allows, I would go with PWKs as well. The PJs are very cheap...but I don't like the choke and idle circuit built into one.... The reason the PJs are popular is because they are inexpensive, the PWK is a better carb. Quote
jesse1004 Posted April 4, 2008 Author Report Posted April 4, 2008 do you think I would be better off with 33's or 35's? fast mid port, cool head. vf3's. dyna.going to cpi's. pods.trued and welded. +4 timing. Quote
