NN2 Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 More specifically, is it necessary to have the round plastic protector that slides onto the swing arm where the swing arm pivots? Apparently I've lost it during the rebuild. The old one was pretty beat up anyway but if it's not needed then I won't use one anyway. What else to do you guys use for chain guards? Thanks Quote

Thanks Get a TM design one, that is if you don't want your chain banging into your swingarm. Its your call but IMO Yes, BTW the OEM ones suck balls. Quote
NN2 Posted March 28, 2008 Author Report Posted March 28, 2008 Does the one that's needed to replace the swingarm crap roller mount with a bolt? Anyone have a link to it? I seen one on RMATV that was the TM design and called a powerlip roller. Quote
dajogejr Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 I don't know who makes it, perhaps pivotworks, but they have one with a split so you don't have to take the arm off. you do have to chisel the metal collar off before you put it on...and it has a finger that rests on the swingarm. Magic Racing carries what's called a Slider pack, it includes the front slider, both roller balls and the rear chain guide. Yes...you need it. Quote
